Dwarves
Small in stature but mighty bold in personality, Dwarves are renowned for their joy of laughter and ale. Given the chance a Dwarf will never turn down a drinking match or a chance to show off their strength. Dwarves pride themselves in their craft of metal and stone, often being referred to as the best blacksmiths alive, they seek deep in the ground for precious metals and stones to work into their fine creations.
- Expert craftsmen in blacksmithing and refining
- Though quite short, they are tough and durable to a fault
- Loves all things shiny and valuable
- Very prideful, will challenge anyone that besmirches them
- Slow on foot, but hates to ride anything not mechanical
- Long lived, normally 120-150 years
- Stronger than the average man despite their size
Gnomes
Nearly identical to their Dwarven brethren, Gnomes do have some distinct differences under the surface. Firstly, Gnomes do not share the same passion for smithing and ore but instead love to tinker and build using their minds to solve complex problems and puzzles. Gnomes also do not live as long, usually living as long as a typical human does. Gnomes and Dwarves often get along quite well together, being known to live free among each other. Gnomes are even shorter than most Dwarves, growing about the same height as goblins.

- Normally not concerned with wealth, they prize knowledge above all else.
