HISTORY - ORIGIN - CULTURE
Golancers were born from the rare union of two powerful Gods. Holdomo the God of Seasons and Ju'Idwyr the Goddess of nature. Sharing a communal love for nature and its creation, the Golancers were born when Holdomo, wishing to share his undying devotion, broke his own heart into pieces called the Deus' Core and gifted it to Ju'Idwyr.
Upon this act of devotion, Ju'Idwyr's tears watered the pieces bringing them to life as the Golancers. Each Golancer has a small piece of this Deus' Core in them, a living soul of nature bound within a body of compacted rock and earth.

Golancers are calm natured and share an affinity for nature and all its beauty. Though Golancers live for many ages, their society has no traditional structure and they are content to live out their days in peace and solitude.

Golancer aggression is rarely ever been noted except in cases of direct retaliation.
Though most Golancers live out their lives almost never leaving their home, there are some who choose to leave for pilgrimage, traveling the world and seeing its many sights.

Golancers do not need sustenance as others do. Golancers must have sunlight and a direct connection to the earth to restore their health and vigor, drawing their strength from the suns warmth and the earths blessing. Upon a golancers death, either through harm or natural causes, their Deus' Core becomes a seed that if left alone will grow over many years into a new Golancer. Because Golancers do not reproduce like other races might, it is believed that their numbers are limited and may, eons from now, dwindle to nothing.
Characteristics
Range in height about 6-10 feet tall
Golancers have hard rock like bodies made of compacted earth and stone. Colors are random and all Golancers have unique colorations

Golancers are often covered in moss and nature with bodies that seem to be harmonize with plant life

When Golancers sleep they curl up into a rocky formation that is often hard to distinguish from natural surroundings
​
There are no male or female Golancers, Golancers do not have gender

Golancers reproduce asexually by dying and being reborn as another
starting talents
COMMUNE WITH NATURE
- You feel an innate connection to the plant and flora life around you and can sense the health and needs of a plant by touching it. If a plant is Ancient or magical in nature you can communicate with it in very basic instruction or question.

SOLAR REGEN
Golancers can only recover health when in the sun. During this time they must have a direct connection with the earth as well.
STONE STATURE
- Compared to the average human or alfar you are built different, with a stature bulky and thick. Metal armors will not fit on you. You can also wield weapons that are too big and bulky for most races, like ogre weaponry. You additionally maintain a natural 2 Armor at all times.

Due to size and weight, Golancers are unable to travel by traditional horse back.

Golancers take 1/2 damage from piercing or slashing attacks but take 2x as much damage from blunt or smashing attacks
